About Us

DESIGNED RETIREMENTS^® was founded by Edward Morton (BS, MBA), who retired as a Vice President from a Fortune 50 company.

He is a former retirement coach, who has done extensive research into retirement issues, focusing specifically on financial planning and time management. After completing his research, he was concerned that the issue of time management was not adequately addressed in retirement planning, was a most problematic issue for current retirees, and was only a minor consideration for those planning retirement.

He decided to address this issue full-time, focusing on an easy to use web based application for planning retirement time. DESIGNED RETIREMENTS^® is the culmination of his work.

Ed has been married for 44 years, has three children, eight grandchildren, lives in Florida and enjoys the journey of life we have all been given.
